RELEASE: Ballard Campaign Launches “100 Hoosiers, 100 Signatures” Effort

INDIANAPOLIS – Independent Indiana Secretary of State candidate Greg Ballard is launching an effort called “100 Hoosiers, 100 Signatures” to help secure the petition signatures necessary to ensure he is on the November ballot.  By law, Ballard needs to collect about 37,000 verified signatures from registered voters to have his name placed on the ballot.

“We get calls, texts and emails from Hoosiers every day eager to ensure they have a choice in November,” said Ballard. “This outpouring is not typical, so we’re responding by creating BallardontheBallot.com. They can visit to download and print the registration forms or ask us to mail them right to their homes. This effort is in direct response to Hoosiers asking how they can help the campaign and signals a true grassroots movement.”

The one-stop shop at BallardontheBallot.com outlines the legal rules, how to obtain the petitions, and asks volunteers to commit to gathering 100 signatures each.

The Ballard campaign has been collecting signatures from around the state over the past few weeks and is on track to qualify for the ballot this fall. The campaign has currently collected more than 20,000 signatures. The number of signatures gathered increases every day.
